About Willow Bridge OT - Caring Occupational Therapy Services

About Willow Bridge OT

Hello! I am Suzy, founder of Willow Bridge OT. I founded Willow Bridge OT to provide specialist occupational therapy grounded in extensive clinical experience across a range of settings.

I am an experienced Occupational Therapist with a background spanning psychiatric intensive care, forensic services, and both inpatient and community practice. I have worked with individuals presenting with complex mental health needs, neurodevelopmental differences, SEMH needs and learning disabilities, often within high-risk and highly specialised environments.

Alongside this, I have experience supporting children and young people within educational settings, working closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, person-centred support.

I have completed postgraduate-level training in sensory processing and assessment, which underpins my approach to understanding individual sensory needs.

I am a trained and experienced autism assessor, with a particular interest in understanding and supporting individuals with complex and overlapping presentations.

My approach is rooted in clinical expertise, but always led by the individual’s unique needs, strengths, and context.

In addition to my clinical work, I have held senior leadership and strategic roles, contributing to service development and working in partnership with commissioners and wider systems to support effective and sustainable care.

The name Willow Bridge reflects the values that underpin my practice… flexibility, resilience, and connection. Like the willow, I believe in adapting to the individual. The bridge represents supporting people to navigate challenges and move forward in a way that is meaningful to them. My mission is to empower individuals through tailored support grounded in research, clinical expertise, and a sincere commitment to wellbeing and inclusion.
